Eat the Rich #2

Spoiler Free Review

Boom Studios is back at it again with another great title in "Eat the Rich" which is written by Sarah Gailey, Pius Bak is the illustrator, colored by Roman Titov and lettered by Cardinal Rae. Boom Studios was kind enough to send me "Eat the Rich #2" before it releases on September 22nd an dafter reading and reviewing the first issue, I cannot wait to see what's next! Let's review!

Once again, I was so blown away by this issue and how it just kept getting better and better by each panel! When I received the email from Boom Studios that allowed me to read and review this issue early, I was so excited because the first one was so good! The creepy vibe really settles in early with twists and turns within the book. I actually think this issue does a great job at giving us surprise after surprise as the book continues. I actually had to stop reading at one point to really take it all in and really understand what was going on! I have to say that Gailey and crew do a great job at keeping the suspense and creepiness of this issue together because this is a wild ride! This is only issue #2 and it's only going to get better from here! I will say that my only small problem with this is that we really don't know the family and other characters in this run but hopefully we will learn about them soon! I also loved how this issue ended and I actually said out loud "oh boy...issue #3 is going to be nuts!" I am curious as to this story furthers the other underlying, mini stories that are also happening along the way!

Overall, I really enjoyed this issue and am very thankful for Boom Studios for sending this issue to me early before the release date of September 22nd! I highly recommend that you pick up issue #1 and #2, they are great! "Eat the Rich #2" gets a 4.5/5!
