Venom and Carnage Funko Pop Review

Venom: Let There Be Carnage!

As of now, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set to release on October 15th and that was after a few delays. I was always a fan of the first Venom movie staring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock aka Venom but when they teased Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady aka Carnage, I was already hooked and ready for Venom 2! There were no Funko Pops released from the first Venom and honestly, I am ok with that. Don't get me wrong, I would've loved a Riot Pop but oh well. Now that Funko has released their Venom 2 Pops, let's take a look and I'll give you my thoughts on them! I'll break them down individually.

Venom- This figure is probably my favorite Venom that Funko has released. The attention to detail on the white veins, the big smile, the eyes that fit perfectly and that long tongue coming out of his mouth are just a great touch to on this character. One negative I would give to this Pop is that he is top heavy and leans to the right so displaying him will be a bit difficult. Overall, the Venom Pop from Venom: Let There Be Carnage gets a 4/5!

Carnage- Ah, the one character that I was so excited to finally see in a movie gets this as his Funko figure. Now there are plenty of other molds and adaptations of Carnage but this is from the movie so one would think that he should look good, but that's not the case for this one. For some reason his eyes and mouth look a little off with the rest of his head and yes I know that Funko Pops have large heads, it's their thing. His teeth also look to be sticking out a little more than they should so it makes it look off. Maybe I'm just nitpicking here but honestly I am a little disappointed in Carnage. I do have some positives with this figure and those are that the details are nice and I really like the dark red coloring on him. Oh, and it's Carnage so that gets a huge plus! Overall Carnage from Venom: Let There Be Carnage gets a 3.5/5
